DPLA Welcomes Connecticut Digital Archive

We are excited to announce that over 75,000 new items from Connecticut Digital Archive are now discoverable in DPLA. Connecticut Digital Archive, a program of the University of Connecticut Library, includes a diverse array of materials from over forty cultural heritage institutions across the state.

DPLA receives $1.5 million grant from Alfred P. Sloan Foundation

The Digital Public Library of America (DPLA) is pleased to announce that the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation has awarded DPLA a $1.5 million grant. The grant will enable DPLA to expand its efforts to provide an improved ebook experience for libraries and their patrons, building on its cultural heritage aggregation program.
