This book contains a series of letters concerning Henry Woodman’s father Edward Woodman and his remembrances from the winter of 1777 at Valley Forge. In the two selected letters, Woodman details the headquarters established by George Washington and his officers as well as the experiences of the approximately ten thousand soldiers stationed at Valley Forge.
