A reproduction of a portrait of Samuel Gridley Howe, founding director of the Perkins School for the Blind.
This black-and-white reproduction of a painting by Jane Stuart shows Samuel Gridley Howe as a young man. Howe was a physician, war hero, and the founding director of the Perkins School for the Blind.
