An excerpt from a book about methods of practical eugenics, 1917.
This book, Eugenics, Marriage and Birth Control (Practical Eugenics) by William J. Robinson was published in 1917. In this excerpt, the author provides many eugenics-based reasons for why couples should use birth control. Most eugenicists of the time did not favor birth control, but rather sterilization. As such, Mr. Robinson’s stance is not consistent with his eugenicist peers.
