Meet the Hubs: A DPLA Zeega Slideshow

Much of the work your trusty DPLA interns do involves looking at length at the digital objects provided via the DPLA. One of the exciting things that becomes apparent during hours of digging through digital archives is the extent to which so many of these records exude the unique character of the regions they come from. Before the DPLA’s launch, we talked to representatives at several of our Digital Hubs, the organizations that provide content and essential services on a regional level in order to keep the DPLA running. To highlight these organizations and the digital objects they’ve contributed to the DPLA, we put together a Zeega multimedia slideshow featuring audio introductions to several of the DPLA’s Hubs and images of some of the archival content those Hubs contain. Click on the service hub’s logo to hear an audio interview and view some of their archival content!
