DPLA Welcomes Michelle Bickert

We are happy to announce Michelle Bickert as DPLA’s ebook program manager and the newest member of DPLA’s growing staff.

“I am excited to have Michelle join us as we continue to expand our ebook program,” said Dan Cohen, DPLA’s Executive Director. “Her skills both complement and expand upon the strengths of the current DPLA staff, and give us needed expertise in the ebook world, especially her connections with ebook consortia and other ebook projects in the library community.”

Michelle comes to DPLA from Reading Arizona, a statewide ebook initiative, where she was instrumental in moving the project from planning to implementation. Her enthusiasm, positive energy and strong community management skills will be key in the success of DPLA’s growing ebook program.

Michelle begins her work at DPLA on December 1st.
