We’re very pleased to write that we’ve officially moved into our new office in the Boston Public Library, located in the heart of Copley Square in downtown Boston. Our office, which is down the hall from a trove of Internet Archive scanning stations and our friends over at Digital Commonwealth, a DPLA Service Hub, will serve as the home for the Boston-based contingent of our small but growing staff. A very special thanks goes out to Amy Ryan, President of the BPL and member of the DPLA Board of Directors, Michael Colford, Director of Library Services and DPLA Marketing and Outreach Committee member, and their hardworking staff, who have outfitted us with an incredible space in one of our nation’s most historic public libraries. We look forward to making the BPL our home over the coming weeks and months, and for seeing many of you in Boston in late October for our first annual DPLAfest celebration!
