A brief note on DPLA site improvements

The site was updated last week with some requested features including accessibility improvements, stronger refinement functionality for the timeline, an option to make your lists public to other users, and a host of smaller bug fixes. We also updated the back-end powering our exhibition section, and we’re pleased to share the jointly curated DPLA-Europeana exhibition, “Leaving Europe: A new life in America,” a visual walk through 19th and 20th century European migration to the United States. For more information about the exhibition and the partnership that made it possible, please see the December 2012 press release. If you haven’t checked out this remarkable collection of objects and narratives, be sure to check it out today!

Thanks to all who helped us improve the DPLA site by identifying bugs and issues.
