Plate marks 3 1/4 x 5 inches Portrait, bust, wearing wide turn-over collar, open at throat. With text: "There are few actors, perhaps not any, who have been so long accustomed to the stage as this gentleman; few who have experienced more of its vicissitudes than he has. From his infancy he has, in truth, been devoted to the Theatre. He was born in November, 1787, in Castle Street, Leicester Square.
