Frank Black, NBC General Music Director, commutes weekly from his New York offices in Radio City to Chicago, to rehearse orchestra and soloists of the Carnation contented Porgram before they go on the air every Monday at 10:00 p.m., EST, over teh NBC-Red Network. Then he dashes back to Radio City by plane. The Carnation Contented hour features Vivian Della Chiesa, soprano, the Doring Sisters, the Carnation male Quartet and the Lullaby Lady." |
