- Description
These photographs were taken at the old Saltair Resort on the shores of the Great Salt Lake, Salt Lake County, Utah. The original Saltair Resort was built in 1893. It was damaged by fire in 1925, and was worn and weathered by the harsh conditions of its location. These photos were taken when the resort was abandoned, but before any remnants of the original buildings were completely destroyed by an arson fire in 1970.
Harry Reed Bolam was born August 1, 1929 in Rennerdale, PA. He passed away on August 23, 2002.
