The Lorraine Elizabeth Joseph oral history interviews form the core of a class project by Cecelia La Pointe-Gorman for the Community History Project under the supervision of Professor Michael K. Honey. The contents of Pointe-Gorman's project are contained in a looseleaf binder, which includes the original sound recordings and transcripts of the interviews, Pointe-Gorman's research paper, black-and-white photocopies of several Joseph family pictures, and related research materials. Also included are a printed digital photograph of the interviewee with a collection of Shaker bells, presumably taken during one of the interviews, and a video recording of the interviewee singing Shaker songs. less
