  • The author writes about the history of a deserted Buddhist temple located in Bangkok. This temple is called Wat Phraya Krai. It was built in the early Rattakosin period. Inside the temple located a huge Buddha image made from real gold but in the past, it was covered with cement. In 1955, cement that covered this Buddha sculpture cracked and the large golden Buddha image that was concealed inside emerged.
