Reverend Daniel Bagley writes to the register of the land office at Vancouver, Joseph M. Fletcher, to enclose a list of reserved university lands. He asks that Fletcher forward the list to the land commissioner at Washington, D.C., so that a dispute over the reserved lands may be settled. Bagley asks that Fletcher avoid striking any lots from the list and allow the land commissioner to make the final decisions regarding the reserved lands. He also asks Fletcher to give his representation of the events while Bagley offers up his list. In closing, Bagley refers to the fact that he has not changed his list of reserved lands since he last discussed the matter with Fletcher in an earlier letter. less
