Charlotte E. King Dolls of the World Collection
The Charlotte E. King Dolls of the World Collection contains approximately 150 dolls from around the world showcasing cultural aspects of the countries represented. The collection was donated by N. Ruth Reed in honor of Charlotte E. King. Charlotte E. King was a professor of childhood studies and reading at West Chester University of Pennsylvania from 1956-1983; she was also the Chair of the Elementary Education Department from 1968-1971. N. Ruth Reed was a professor of health and physical education at West Chester University of Pennsylvania from 1954-1989.
