Speeds Community Fair began in 1920. It was a yearly event that provided an opportunity for people of all ages to exhibit their animals, crops, crafting skills, writing, and cooking skills. There were prizes for various athletic events also. There was music and other entertainment provided during the fair. These fair programs provide a description of the events, names of committee members, and advertisements of local businesses.
