    This photograph depicts a group of more than 120 men doing a push-up drill on Pratt Field on the campus of the International YMCA College, now Springfield College, as part of May Day Festival of 1920. The men are all in lines and are doing a push-up. The photograph is part of a collection of nine photographs, all depicting the gymnastics show. This particular photograph is presumed to have been taken from a wooden platform, because of its perspective from higher ground. The series of photographs are numbered and were taken by photographer John Barnum for a local newspaper, the Springfield Republican.
