Report of the Senate Committee for Directing How the Journals Should be Kept

On May 18, 1789, the Senate adopted this report which outlined what information would be recorded in the Journals and how frequently they would be published. The Journals list bills passed, amendments offered, motions made, and votes taken. This report states that the Journal should be published once per month.
