The original finding aid described this photograph as: Original Caption: The Shoshone people moved with the seasons and lived in extended families. The descendants of the band massacred at Bear River live in Northeastern Utah and Southeastern Idaho. This sign tells about this and shows sepia-toned, historic pictures of Shoshone Indians.
