Wardrobe, belonging to Abraham Lincoln

Walnut and pine double-door wardrobe. Recessed section panels on the front doors. Butted board construction on sides and back. Sides are formed of one vertical board each; back is composed of seven horizontal boards. Wardrobe rests on a platform comprised of two planks, held off the floor by four short, turned, tapered round legs that terminate in bun feet. W 48" x H 76" x D 18 1/2". This wardrobe belonged to Abraham Lincoln during his residence in Springfield, IL, 1844-1861.
