  • Fragment of white envelope, free-franked by Abraham Lincoln. Sent to Mrs. Sprigg, Lincoln's Washington DC landlady for the room he rented while serving as a U.S. Representative from 1847-1849. Also legible is the word "Resent". Dimensions are 3 3/16" long, and 5 1/2" wide.
