  • Albert Parker Niblack was born on July 25, 1859 in Indiana. In 1885, he joined the U.S. Coast and Geodetic Survey and became a member of the Alaska Survey Team. While a part of this team, Niblack traveled around Alaska and photographed the native villages of Kasa-an and Chasina.
