Reserve forces from all over the nation are participating in GOLDEN MEDIC, a multi-unit, medical, field training exercise held at Parks Reserve Forces Training Area, Dublin, California. Attached to the helmet and upper body is the Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System (MILES) gear to simulate combat. When hit by a laser emiter a loud tone sounds off that signifies the soldier is wounded or dead.
