Zooming from practically nowhere, their names became overnight bywords. And now, after having made successful starts in one or two pictures, they are the focal points for dozens of writers who are bent on turning out scripts esecially to their liking and personality. 1. Notable is pretty Doris Davenport, the 'extra' who did mob scenes for ten years before she was put into her importatnt supporting role with Gary Cooper in 'The Westerner.' Samuel Goldwyn was the discoverer. he was tests made of Miss Davenport for 'gone with the Wind.'
