The flag hung on the wall of the Pentagon Building in Washington, D. C. since the September 11th terrorist attack on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. The Pentagon Building was damaged on 09/11/2001 when five members of the Al-Qaida terrorist group hijacked American airlines flight 77, a Boeing 757-200 commercial jetliner and crashed the aircraft into the Pentagon Building, killing themselves and all 64 passenger on board
