The Springfield College Bulletin originally published this collage as a supplement in their February 1932 issue, but it was later turned into the full-sized poster seen here. The collage shows pictures of the numerous Springfield College alumni working with YMCAs world-wide. The alumni are divided into eleven sections based on geography: Latin America, Philippines, Japan, Near East and Africa, Hawaii, Europe, Australia, Korea, China, India, and international students working in North America. In the center is a photograph of the 1931 Cosmopolitan Club, the original name for Springfield College's International Students Organization. The Cosmopolitan Club was formed in 1921, although international students attended Springfield College well before then. This collage can also be found on the electronic version of the Springfield College Bulletin February, 1932, page 5 here: http://cdm16122.contentdm.oclc.org/cdm/ref/collection/p16122coll3/id/10412 Another copy of this poster can be found at: http://cdm16122.contentdm.oclc.org/cdm/singleitem/collection/p15370coll2/id/5246/rec/26 This copy differs from the other copy because there is a caption on the front of the poster that reads: "The International Young Men's Christian Association College at Springfield, Massachusetts. A pioner college for training for service professions amoung youth. Its graduates are eminent leaders in the YMCA Colleges , Public and Private Schools, in Churches, Social Settement Work and in al branches of Social Service. less
