Visible are the Research on Orbital Plasma Electrodynamics, the Dipole-Field Antenna, the Langmuir Probe, the SSA 454 Ring, Satellite Deployment Boom and the top half of the satellite itself. Also visible are the Orbital Maneuvering System (OMS) pods, the vertical tail and the Remote Manipulator System (RMS). A large shadow is cast over most of the payload bay.
