  • The Virginia Theater was built between the years 1920 and 1921. It was named after the commissioner’s (A.W. Stolman’s) daughter, Elizabeth Virginia Stolman. It was designed by C. Howard Cane and H. Kenneth Franzheim. The exterior is based on designs from the Italian renaissance; the awning is yellow and red and there are trailing vines on the roof.
