The original finding aid described this as: Description: Photographic documentation of an ergometer used to evaluate a Passive Cycle Isolation System (PCIS) onboard the Space Shuttle Columbia during STS-62. The evaluation was performed in order to compare the magnitude and frequency of vibrations transferred to the orbiter from the ergometer equipped with the PCIS to those caused by an ergometer with a hard mount and to evaluate the ease of set up and stowage of the PCIS and the impact on crew habitation in the middeck. Includes views of Mission Specialist Charles ``Sam`` Gemar strapped to the ergometer (033-034).
