Oak flower stand with applied carving of lion's head on front panel. H 35 1/4" x W 14 1/2" x D 15 1/4". Tradition holds that this stand was purchased by Miss Lydia Rockwell of Springfield, IL, at a "tag" sale (similar to a modern garage sale) of Lincoln's household effects in 1861.
