Jan. 7 Rockport Ind. Indiana state police escort the last of the men arrested at the B&M coal loading dock in Rockport. 165 men were walked to the front lawn of the Spencer County courthouse, as they awaited booking. An estimated 400 miners were involved in the violence that left an estimated $800,000 in damage. Firebombs were thrown through the windows of a field office on the loading dock property. The owner, Paul Teegarden, and his attorney, Frank Hahn, were in the building at the time, but were uninjured. AP Wirephoto th2400mbr-th. 1978
