Iwao Matsushita letter to Hanaye Matsushita describing the English classes that he teachers for other detainees at Fort Missoula, March 26, 1942
In his letter, Matsushita thanks Hanaye for sending materials for him to teach his class, stating that he is awaiting them to be approved by the censor. He writes "I am now the most popular teacher, having classes 3 times a week, and more than ___ students. We call this school "the Missoula University."" The number of students has been redacted from the letter by the censors at the fort.
