Color poster by Charles N. Sarka issued in 1918 showing the image of a doughboy climbing out of a trench, with the printed message reading "Lend him a hand", "Buy Liberty Bonds". (Editor's note: Appearing on the cover of "Leslie" magazine (note copyright), this image was used extensively in advertising for the Fourth Liberty Bond, a war bond sold in the United States to support the allied cause in World War I.)
