Report Respecting Proposals for Printing the Acts and Other Proceedings of Congress

The House issued this report on printing acts and other proceedings of Congress. The report stated that the decision of who should print the acts should be left to the Secretary of the Senate and the Clerk of the House. The contract should include the printing of 600 copies of any Act of Congress and 700 copies of the House and Senate journals. The report was agreed to by the House on May 28, 1789.
