Victorian interior: large sitting room with arched doorway leading to adjacent sitting area, fringed sway hanging just below arched portion of doorway, gingerbread decoration above swag. Right side of doorway: heavy upholstered sofa, tufted back and arms, large pillows on floor and on sofa. Upholstered armchair with carving atop back, large detached pillow. Mirrored mantle piece behind sofa, open shelves on either side of mirrow containing framed photographs and bricabrac, long shelf atop with more framed photographs, other photographs on wall adjoining mantle piece. Chandelier hanging in center of ceiling. Left side contains 2 side chairs, table bearing lamp figure of heroic woman supporting a large lamp shade. Floral carpet extends to within one foot of walls, continues into adjoining room. Upholstered platform rocker under archway, plant stand with potted palm. Framed pictures hanging in arched passage. In adjacent room beyond, two doors, upholstered chair with pillow and framed pictures on wall are visible. Through open door lighter weight porch-style chair can be seen.
