Bean, Lunar Module (LM) pilot, attaches the Apollo Lunar Surface Experiment Package (ALSEP) Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generator (RTG) fuel package to the carrybar. Image was taken during the first extravehicular activity (EVA 1) of the Apollo 12 mission. Original film magazine was labeled Y, film type was HCEX (SO-168 - Ektachrome EF, high-speed color reversal, ASA 160) taken with a 60mm lens.
