    This letter was sent by Brigadier General Brice P. Disque to Sherman Rogers on April 28, 1922. In it, Disque responds to a letter received from Rogers, which informed Disque of Rogers's intention to write a history of the Loyal Legion of Loggers and Lumbermen, an organization Disque had founded. Disque responds to the suggestion of including material on the Spruce Production Division -- a military unit for which Disque had served as commanding officer during World War I -- by emphasizing the Division's important contributions, but advising that it would likely be best to keep references to the Division as brief as possible.
