Most of the students are identified by names handwritten below the photograph. Newton High School, established in 1859, was located on Walnut Street in Newtonville, a village of Newton, Massachusetts. It was the only public high school in the city until 1960 when a second high school was built. This leather bound album with metal latch and gold leaf page ends probably belonged to Albert S.
