Errors in foliation: CXXXVII-CXXXVIII are duplicated in numbering, CLIII-CLIV are omitted. Inscription of James Boyer, a student at Christ's Hospital, on leaf CLXXXI verso: "James Boyer hujusce Orphanotrophy Alumnus 1751." Boyer later served as headmaster of Christ's Hospital from 1778 to 1799. Library copy was originally bound in wooden boards covered with pigskin with "Christ's Hospital" and its seal stamped on front cover; restored and re-bound by the Monastery Hill Bindery in 1990.
