Harbor tugs maneuver the aircraft carrier USS JOHN F. KENNEDY (CV 67) out of port as the vessel prepares to depart following overhaul at Norfolk Naval Shipyard. The KENNEDY spent a four-month period at the shipyard during which it received major improvements, foremost among them being installation of an F/A-18 avionics system in the Aviation Intermediate Maintenance Department.
