Dancers in the Dark___FOR RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY. ANY REPRODUCTION, PUBLICATION OR OTHER_USE OF THIS MATERIAL WITHOUT THE PRIOR WRITTEN CONSENT OF PARAMOUNT_PICTURES CORPORATION IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED. REQUESTS FOR PARAMOUNT'S_APPROVAL SHOULD BE REFERRE. From the back: From Small Beginnings -- Many of the cinema's brightest stars of today had obscure beginnings. Some few have leaped at onceinto prominence. The roles of nearly all have varied from picture to picture. It is quite a contrast to consider first roles and present ones of the players in question. Memories are re-awakened in many instances of pictures of yesteryear, and of some personalities long forgotten. 11) George Raft was co-featured with Miriam Hopkins when their studio made "Dancers in the Dark" back in 1932, and George wasn't so very well known. Another principal was Jack Oakie. George is here shown with Miss Hopkins in a scene from the picture. less
