Documentary: A sociology student reports how welfare agencies in Yonkers, N.Y. organized under the Community Chest, solve problems. R.1. The student receives his assignment and visits Yonkers, He checks into a YMCA and in touring the area, sees problems of unsupervised youth and poor housing. He visits a member of the Community Chest. The Family Service makes possible the adoption of a baby girl. R.2, The student accompanies a visiting nurse on her daily duties, tours the educational and recreational facilities of the YMCA and attends a Boy Scout meeting.
