Stage and vaudeville actress Ray Cox. From newsclipping on back: "'The vaudeville star, who is to marry a motion picture manager.' New York, Nov. 3--Another romance of the stage was revealed when Miss Ray Cox announced her engagement to Harvey James Flint, one of the managers of a moving picture corporation, who has figured in amateur athletics for years. They were introduced by a mutual friend while she was plyaing vaudeville in Providence, RI, and Mr. Flint taught her to sail, ride and box. After becoming expert in various branches of sport the actress turned her knowledge to good account on the stage. A new playlet is being written for her, in which she will originate the part of a feminine Muldoon. In one of the scenes she will compel a man to put on the gloves with her. At the Biltmore hotel Miss Cox said that while arrangements for the wedding had not yet been made, it probably will take place in New York in a few days. It will be simple, she said, and mong the few witnesses will. less
