  • The Betty Earles Steamer was named after a close relative of Mike Earles'. [Different sources name Betty as Mike's wife or Mike's daughter.]It was built on Lake Crescent then moved to Bellingham after the sanitarium burned at Skol Duc Hot Springs (burned in 1916). Built for Lake Crescent Hotel, circa 1912-1915. [Clallam County Historical Society note].Date provided by Community Museum Project staff.
