W.H. Galvani, secretary of the Spokane assembly of the Knights of Labor, writes to Gov. Eugene Semple to ask him to use his influence to settle the labor dispute at the Roslyn mine. The K of L would like Semple to "interfere in behalf" of them, and to "use all the influence you possibly could to settle the difficulties" between strikers and the company.
