- Description
Original Caption: Fighting the Kaiser with motor machinery on the farm. Turning the soil with a light tractor. This machine, which is being used by an Indiana farmer, moves about three times as fast as a horse or mule team. It pulls two plows, which would require four horses, and that means it is doing as much as six two-horse teams could do. This tractor can be run 24 hours a day if necessary. March 22, 1918. Date Taken: March 22, 1918 Photographer: Underwood and Underwood
