  • This is a portrait of Charlie Sullivan, the men's volleyball coach at Springfield College.     This is a portrait of Charlie Sullivan, the men's volleyball coach at Springfield College. Charlie Sullivan began his career at Springfield in 1998 when he was named the men's volleyball coach and an assistant professor of physical education. Sullivan earned his bachelor's degree in business management from Springfield in 1991 and his masters in physical education in 1997. He served as an assistant volleyball coach under Sean Byron during the 1996 and 1997 seasons at Springfield. He then worked as an intern during July of 1998 with the USA Men's National Team in Colorado Springs, Colorado before being hired as the head coach for Springfield. During his time as a student, Sullivan played halfback for the men's soccer team. In 2015, Sullivan will enter his 17th season as the head coach for the men's volleyball team. At the finish of the 2013-2014 school year, his coaching record was 283 wins and 166 losses with multiple national championships. less
