- Description
Louis Schroeder first coached the team for 2 seasons, from 1915 until 1916. Following him was Paul Otto, who remained head coach of the track and field team for 5 seasons between 1920 and 1924. Next in line was Jack Rothacher. Rothacher coached the team for 13 seasons from 1925 until 1937. Les Judd then became head coach and took over the team for 14 seasons between 1938 and until 1954. After Judd left, Vern Cox became the head coach and coached the team for 22 seasons between 1955 and 1976. In 1977 Ken Klatka became the head coach where he remains today. As of 2013, Klatka coached the team for 37 season and has an overall record of 447 wins and 156 losses, a winning percentage of .741.
