Salt industry: Solar Salt: Harvesting. Post Card: Almost exactly the same view as Pstcd09. Seven horse drawn carts in aisle between solar salt vats. This time the lead cart has a driver,and a dark horse with relaxed ears. All else looks the same. Can see tubs of solar salt sitting at ends of the salt vats and several men standing in vats with muddles. Ten copies of this postcard. Four are titled: "Scene at the Salt Fields, Syracuse, N.Y." Two say: "Solar Salt Works, Syracuse, N.Y." One says: "Salt works, Syracuse, N.Y." Another says: "Gathering Salt at Salt Works, Syracuse, N.Y." and two say: "Salt Sheds, Syracuse, N.Y."
