    Postcard of "Abraham Lincoln's Log Cabin Built by Abraham Lincoln and his father in 1831, in Coles County, Illinois; taken to Chicago during the World's Fair by the Abraham Lincoln Log Cabin Association". This postcard was mailed August 14, 1910 from Chicago to El Paso, Illinois. On the reverse is a note and a cancelled one cent stamp. Another indication of the reverence for Lincoln present in Illinois in the generations after his death. The family who received this postcard had a large picture of Lincoln hanging in their Blacksmith shop for many years.
